The Nautilus Group Introduces New Nautilus Brand Home Strength Equipment
VANCOUVER, Wash.--(BW HealthWire)--Aug. 1, 2002--The Nautilus Group Inc. (NYSE: NLS - News), a leading marketer, developer, and manufacturer of branded health and fitness products, introduces the NS700, the flagship model of home strength equipment under the Nautilus® brand, one of the premier names of strength training equipment for health clubs worldwide.
Using the most advanced Nautilus® technology, the NS700 is a top of the line product, with two training stations. One station provides a seated leg curl and extension that can be reversed with one easy adjustment, and a user-defined dual pivot "Pec Dec" that simulates a free weight wide range of motion. The second station, the cornerstone of the NS700, is an innovative multi-pivotal pulley station that adjusts in virtually all directions to create a versatile, functional workout. In addition, the NS700 footprint is small and the unit is designed to rest against a wall or in the corner of a room, making it a convenient piece of equipment for the home.
"The NS700 is the most impressive Nautilus® home strength system to date," said Kevin Lamar, President of The Nautilus Group. "It offers everything for strength training that a complete health club can offer, but with the added convenience of being in the user's home. Much of the technology used in the development of our commercial Nitro(TM) and 2ST(TM) lines for health clubs has been incorporated into the NS700, making it industrial quality equipment at an affordable price and a manageable size."
Nautilus is also releasing the NS4000, a light industrial strength training unit perfect for hotels, schools and corporate workout facilities. In addition to the new strength systems, Nautilus is releasing the NS85, an ab/back extension attachment and the NS95, an inner and outer thigh attachment. These extensions attach to any Nautilus home strength system.
The Nautilus Group will be displaying the new Nautilus® home strength products at the Health and Fitness Business show in Denver, CO, from August 1 to August 3, at booth #604.
